Huichol Tribe - Brief History

In 1653 Bishop Juan Ruiz Comienero wrote about a nation call Quisoles and their language: Quichola. The bishop described the group as an independent nation living in the coastal zone of the nayar sierra in a place called Sierra de Tepic.
